    Can’t tell, could be. Or 14Kt?
    I wonder how to guess the approximate weight just of the gold. Just to get an idea how to price it. Or maybe go with auction style?

    Hi,
    That tortoise shell marking is too regular to be REAL tortoise. It looks exactly like the faux tortoise shell that I learned to do years ago. Just a feeling, I may be wrong but I do not think I am. It is still a beautiful box.

    By the way real tortoiseshell is forbidden for sell on Ebay, right? Unless from non-endangered species and you have to specify. How does one know the exact type?
