Featured Art glass bead necklace - Turkish Nazar beads?

    Here is the necklace I spoke of in the other thread.

    I think I need to do a little scrubbing. :vomit::vomit: :oops::oops:

    It is 38" end to end & the beads are between 13mm to 15mm.

    They're lampwork beads. They could be Turkish, Italian made for export to Turkey, or... dunno.

    Very nice, Peggy. They remind me of repro Phoenician and Iron Age European beads.
    Turkish nazar beads are ideally cobalt blue with a turquoise and/or yellow ring and a black pupil. They are usually more translucent. I think yours are nicer.

    Oh, I think I have eye ball ones too, but yours are much nicer Peggy.
    I know nothing about jewelry,but for some reason picked them up years ago.
