Found this at Goodwill today. Measures 14 inches high - 5.5" Wide at Base. Flat back.
How old is he, where was he made, bisque or Parian Ware and lastly how to I clean him. The mark is from GW.

Soap and water with a soft toothbrush.

    For the ink:
I have had good luck using Barkeepers Friend. Make a paste and use an old scotchbrite pad.

Sorry, can't help with age or origin.

You might want to wait to see if others have a better way of cleaning.

I use Mr. Clean Magic Erasers to remove marks and dirt. It works great.

    Hi,
For cleaning, I would spray him with "foaming bubbles" bathroom cleaner wait a couple of minutes then rinse him off and dry. Sometimes takes a second clean. Works really well on those lace ladies also. Found one Parianware statue with 60 years of tobacco smoke. Took two sprays but what a difference, from amber to dazzling white.
