Bronze mouse and snail paperweight

    I found this in a charity shop today. It's a very well made bronze mouse and I think I can see signs of gold gilding on some parts.
    I have looked for marks but all I could see is maybe TS below tip of the tail.
    Anyone recognize this bronze?

    Nice little find. I really like. Looks to have some age. Hopefully other more knowledgeable members can be more helpful.

    The Chinese are masters of reproducing their own or Japan's antiquities & making them look like antiquities. I would be very cautious about drawing conclusions. I like the design though.

    I would guess vintage at least. I like it!

    Can you post photo of the initials, or did I miss it above?
