Featured Burmese ? Ewer Vase with Applied Leaves

Would you consider this Burmese glass? Pitcher stands 6 5/8" tall, scratched (?) or sanded pontil. It glows --even the pink - green under UV light.

Any help is appreciated!

 

I would consider it very pretty.......past that ?????

 

My problem is that I have never seen Burmese glass with green applied leaves.
Doing a search brings up one on ebay and they are calling it Murano.

But even the stuff that was imported from Italy in the 70s, I don't recall having seen this kind of application.
I have a feeling this may be a newer import.

Of course there are many things I haven't encounterd before, so I could be wrong.

Thanks, Cluttered. The reason I posted was because I couldn't find any examples like this one, either. I'm no Murano expert, but Murano doesn't seem right.

I'm thinking it's newer.

If newer it has a drop dead gorgeous handle. I can not see it being newer unless it was done by a really well known maker. I do not think Asia is it's source.

This is a piece that I have that was identified as Italian. Similar finish on the legs.

 

I would not have guessed the OP's piece was Italian. I haven't seen anything like it before, very pretty. Nice ID, Cluttered and Mill Cove.

Except for the handle, it reminds me of some Stevens and Williams I've seen. I don't know whether they marked all their pieces or not.
