Set of 9 buttons. Not thinking any great age... maybe 1990s? Newer?

About an inch in diameter. Backs appear to be plastic. Anyone seen similar? Keywords, etc appreciated. Thanks!

Awesome, Bronwen. Very helpful, thank you.

Both the Ebay and Etsy auction use the word "Junque" button to describe these. Anyone know, is "Junque" a term people are searching for sort of a collage item like this? New to me. Thanks!

Edit: Answered my own question. Just Ebay searched "junque button" and a bunch of these showed up!

I never see it anymore, but in the past would see people selling a bunch of odds & ends as a 'junk drawer lot'. Maybe now 'junque' to chime with 'antique'? It does seem to have caught on for these buttons:

@Figtree3 Same buttons, that is my other account. :)

Was a quick sale. Got them ID'd here, put them up, an hour later, sold!

That was quick. Someone had them on their search list and KERBLAM.

I think it's funny that "junque" seems to be one of the good keywords for this sort of thing. I always think of it as one of the throwaway, useless words, like RARE!

It's always fun to learn something new!

Jivvy the research is my favorite

I thought, from the one link that @Lucille.b posted, of buttons on their original cards, that "junque" was the brand name...

Oh, ok-- that makes sense! I didn't go to the link. And her comment didn't connect in my mind. My bad!

The plastic on these, btw, is a sort of clear poured resin. Or it was clear. The older version seems to yellow out quickly.
