    IMG_3317.JPG IMG_3318.JPG IMG_3320.JPG Hello!
Anyone can help identifying the mark on this censer? Also any more info about it? Age? bronze or brass?

    Thank you in advance!

The mark looks very similar to the Foo Dog/Komainu, pot shaped, bronze incense burner markings on the following site, Virtual Incense Burner Museum. The site says:

Origin: China Shape: Pot : Foo Dog/Komainu Material: Bronze
    Location: Dragonfire Imports
Description: Incense burner bought in Xian China. The inscription says Ming Dynasty and names the time of the Emperor.

I can't give you a link directly to the burner because of the site's formatting. The following link takes you to the site's homepage. Click "Asia" in the index on the left, the click "China, at the bottom of each pages keep going to (61-75). The burner is the 9th down, "Item #372." Click the thumbnail. An easier way to it is to type 372 in the site's Search engine.

Even with the Ming Dynasty marking, I doubt it is anywhere near that old. I suspect it is an honorary markings and a relatively recent burner. I didn't look through all the Chinese burners to see if any others. BTW, Dragonfire Imports went out of business in 2012,
