Hello Board Buddies! I recently acquired this demitasse or chocolate cup and saucer that I think qualifies as Dresden Rose. The mark, though, has me completely baffled. The cup measures 2 7/8" tall and the saucer measures 4 3/8" across. Only the saucer is marked. It's handwritten like a decorator mark but seems unusually complex. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you so much SIS! I never would have found that on my own although I use porcelainmarksandmore all the time. If you look closely at the lines in my saucer you can kind of see there are two lines, one mostly on top of the other. No other marks except some impressed numbers. It also sort of explains the bottom of the cup which is rough to the touch like someone took sandpaper to it. I would assume local porcelain makers sold excess pieces or seconds to R. Grossbaum & Sohne with the agreement that any original manufacturer marks were removed. Again, many thanks!
