Drexel chairs -- a few questions

Don't post too often in furniture, but these were at my thrift yesterday, just out and really not expensive. When I saw the Drexel stamp, decided to get them.

Stamped 3 times on base -- each stamp reads "Curtis Products, Inc. Reproductions of American Colonial Furniture, Ashburnham, Mass." Assuming these are 1960's plus or minus.

Gold stamp on bottom, "Exclusively for Drexel" along with the Curtis Productions name. Are these techically "Drexel" chairs?

Not a huge fan of American Colonial, but Drexel furniture seems to be pretty collectible these days (did a quick Ebay search, wow!) Have to say that these chairs are really well made and are kind of growing on me. They are quite heavy as well. Do you call this style "Hitchcock?"

Photo has a bit of a fish-eye look making one chair look smaller, but they are identical.

    Thanks for taking a look. drex2.jpg drex3.jpg drex4.jpg

I'd call it more of a Windsor chair than a Hitchcock.

I like them. Nice sturdy chairs.

Oh and style might be a captain's chair. Meant for the head of the table.

Thank you, was wondering what to call it.

Not sure what I am going to do with these, if I pass them on, I'm sure some decorator might be able to use them. They are about as sturdy as they come. I'm sure would last 100 years.

So correct to call these Drexel? Curious how that works when two companies are involved. Thanks.
