I have had this for quite sometime and pulled it out earlier today in hopes to clean it up but I noticed a few things that struck me as odd... I am not sure if it may be because it is vintage perhaps? The T in T & CO isn't lined up, the 2 in 925 isn't centered, the 1837 seems cheaply stamped, and finally the maker mark also seems to be off in quality. I don't know if I am being nitpicky because on wrist you would never know and it is real sterling silver... Any ideas?

The crispness of finish, stamp & lack of enameling (patination in stamp) do look quite different.
