Hand Blown Ruby Glass

    Don't know, Kard - but I like it

    Maybe made for a pirate's table? :)

    Oh dear, there is so much wrong with that...If it was studio it must have been a student or practice piece.

    IMG_6922.JPG I'd think the organic form was intentional rather than sloppy execution.

    It isn't the form so much as it is the execution. The sandpapered bottom, I presume, is an attempt to level the base. No attempt to really polish. The quality of the glass itself, it looks cloudy and full of bubbles and bubble bursts. The fold lines and texture don't seem to serve any artistic purpose. The joins aren't well done. I'll admit organic forms aren't really my thing but I don't object to them on principle. I don't mean to be harsh. I'm really the type of person who tries to salvage just about every piece I trip over but I can't find anything to recommend about this one. Sorry.

    I see your points but for some reason I like it even if badly made.

    Mexican tourist glass I think. Pretty however, I love all things red (including redheads)
