Really would like to see if somebody can tell me what I have. I know it is carved but as to describing it is something else.I know it's Chinese as by the elephant handles on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. It measures 4-1/8"H x 3-1/4" at its widest, lip is 2-7/8" differentiated. ela.jpg elc.jpg

looks like a mold, rather than a carving....

Yes it does but it isn't, no mold seams and there's a couple of spots where there is buildup of clay/porcelain from whatever tool they used.

Try looking at Japanese Banko carved vases.
