    Width - 43 cm
    Length - 47 cm

    Agree with your dating or maybe even a tad earlier. May have been part of a parlor set. Can't really tell wood from these pics. Probably either walnut or mahogany.... or more likely, a lesser wood (birch) stained to mimic either. Fabric may be original.
