I found this cool abstract - ish manatee? sculpture at a local thrift store. It is heavy & signed with the number 399 under the signature. Can anyone make out the artist's name?
    Thanks for any help!

Hoselton, Ontario, Canada. I think most of their work was in cast aluminum.

You caught my error typing pewter before I had a chance to edit to correct 'cast aluminum'. You're very quick:arghh:. lol.

What does it say under Hoselton? What is the 399 - a limited edition?
    Thank you all!

Under Hoselton it says Canada. The number 399 is probably their mold number, if it was a limited edition, it would indicate a number symbol/edition size. As in 200/399, indicating it was number 200 out of 399 issued.

Sigh... I got it for 1/2 the $39.95 price - and found one that sold on eBay for $9.95.
Oh well, it could have been worse/more expensive.
    Thanks all
