Hi all. I would love some help identifying these chairs and their value. I have been looking at Thonet, Fischel, Kohn styles of which they are all similar.

The imprint underneath says Hofmann and I can't read much beyond that.

    Thanks in advance!

What does that say under Hoffman?

    Not much better.
I guess it might say Bentwood, but not really clear.

Thanks for turning the picture @Huntingtreasure . I thought it was BU...something... can't tell the rest. Anyone have a guess how old they are?

Maybe it’s more legible on the other chair. You could also look closely for any numbers on the bottom. Someone who knows more will probably weigh in at some point.

Would think very late 19th on in to the first few decades of the 20th century. Probably made the same for a lot of years.

It should read "Bielitz" and -- to my eye -- it appears that it does.

Don't think this chair has anything to do with Josef Hoffmann. Note the difference in spelling.
