    Hi wonderful people!

Wondering if anyone can help me identify this Barbie. Her bottom says she is a 1966 made in Japan. I think I even had one as a kid but can't figure out which one she is. Would appreciate your help. Thank you!

According to google she is a TNT Barbie, which apparently stands for twist n turn. I am not that knowledgable about vintage Barbies though I wish I were. Love this style of face with the side glance eyes.

She's a TNT Barbie from the mod era. The "flip" on the ends of her hair would date her from 1969-1971. The outfit she's wearing is called "Lovely Sleep-Ins" #1463. It was sold in 1970.

It's weird because the year looks like 1966 but it is obscured. See what you think.

It's 1966. That's the year that the body mold was patented. It was used from 1966 to the 1990s. The "Made In Japan" part of the mark was discontinued in 1972. Your Barbie's tushie looks exactly as it should. :)
