Hello everyone - A board on Facebook identified these two pieces as Alhambrian pottery from England but I'm having real trouble finding out anything about the company. Does anyone have any source material for Alhambrian? I have seen some references to a Staffordshire majolica but can't seem to get much further. I think I have a couple of other pieces that might be Alhambrian now that I know what to look for. The pitcher is about 8" tall and the vase is about 14". Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
    Don

I've no clue who said these were Alhambrian although I saw that thread. That majolica group has some very dubious "experts", imo. They're both of poor quality, especially the transfer one.

I now gather Alhambrian is a decoration rather than a manufacturer. I agree the quality is not very good. I think I bought them cheap and mainly for the color. I'll probably put them in my booth cheap and move them along.

They do have some experts in the Facebook group I think. I've found them helpful for American majolica but the responses to my request were a bit muddled to say the least. Still I didn't expect much as there's little documentation on this lower end stuff. We don't run into much Minton here. :)
