Large Brown Stoneware or Pottery Pitcher Marked 229

    This is heavier than a runny nose in winter. Any idea who made it? I found another on the interweb from an antique dealer. Their description was "brown jug marked 229 $150.00." LOL, that provided no information! :) Found mine at a thrift for $5.99.

    I think it was Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company (R.R.P. Co./RRPCo) that often used underlined hand incised code numbers.
