This vase looks great from across the room but close-up, well, it's got some damage. Regardless, I like it and would liked to know more about the marks.

It's approximately 9 1/2" tall and looks like it was or was about to be made into a lamp. There's a drilled hole in the bottom and on the side of the foot. Someone did a gawd awful job on the top rim where there's a repair and likewise on the foot edge.

I'm thinking this is a late 1800s mark, but if anyone can give me more info on dating, I'd appreciate it. I'm also wondering about the series letters.

    Thanks so much!

Agree, looks like the late 19th century type mark, and before 1900. Liberty Boutique Paris has a good section - https://www.libertys.com/longwy.htm

I suspect the neck was cut down hence what you see at the rim. Longwy collectors are one of those type which do stand for a bit of damage (still affects price though) and the amount here will still be problematic. Still looks nice though.

    Thank you!
Any ideas on the odd group of letters in the next to last photo?
