I came across a set of 18 of these today in a consignment shop. They wanted 45 dollars and I am not sure I want to spend the money as my wife would kill me if I came home with more useless stuff. They are crystal and came in a cloth zipper carring case, like a little suitcase with individual compartments for them. I have not been able to find any marking on the glasses

Can't help ID but at $45 for 18 that is only $2.50 each, seems like a great deal to me especially with the carrying case. Try and buy plain, modern cordials at Bed Bath and Beyond for that price!

But that's just me. My husband would roll his eyes if I came home with them - and I would ;)

You'd have to elbow me out of the way first, Marie!

The decoration says European to me. Likely from the 1920s. Looks like a good buy to me.

They could be even older; my grandmother received similarly decorated vases as a wedding gift circa 1894. Turquoise was a hot color earlier than that too. Older than dirt, and in that condition ..and in a case. If you're not buying them, tell us where to find them and Greg may find himself up to a road trip.(LOL)

I'm with late 19th C. I'd have bought them: split into three sets of six and you've a decent sale.

Your cordials are lovely indeed. They are beautifully decorated without being "overdone" to my way of thinking.

I've decided that for 45$ they are a steal. I really want to know anything about them. Ive looked and found nothing, and the more I look the more frustrating it is to turn up empty

Please let us see the whole set with the case when you get them home. We all love to drool over old lovely glass items like this & if you decide to part with them we also love to live vicariously through your success.:happy::happy:

Could be French, possibly Baccarat. We tend to Bohemian/Moser when we see this beautiful decoration, but Baccarat and St Louis did a good bit with gold scrolls and little enamel dots in the late 1800s. And they'd have used fitted cases.

Did you look at the case real closely? It may have a small mark somewhere that will help solve the mystery.

Can we see the case? Or have you not run back and bought them yet.

I will be picking them up tomorow or tuesday. I feel in my gut that the case was bought later as it has an almost vinyl feel to it.
