What do the two lines of printing show on the top of the stove?

I can barely make out the tail-end of the first line but . . . it looks to me like it says "warm aire" -- but what do the letters in front of that say?

Also, I "think" I can make out an "18" at the tail-end of the second line.

What can you tell us about the writing on the stove? ;)

I can't tell you anything specific about your stove/furnace, but do have info on the company. Found an article about the company history in The Encyclopedia of Louisville, Ky, page 852. This helps a a very little on dating this furnance/stove - before 1945.

BTW, Stiglitz is being misspelled by many on the web. Some are spelling it Sticlitz. I found only 1 stove similar to yours by Stiglitz. It was auctioned for $50.00. It was a Model 4616 or 46-16 while yours is Model 4518 or 45-18.
