    Hi! Happy New Year!

Trying to find out some info on this cast iron pancake flipper...age and maybe a ballpark value.
My bf has had it for years...i don't think he's planning on selling it (he's a 'collector' while i go for the cash)

    marked....WAGNER MFG. CO...No. 2...SYDNEY...OHIO

    it measures 9 1/4" square.

Both of us have searched and haven't found one...thank for any help!

    From Pinterest (orig Ebay)
Whether they are correct in calling it a Flop Griddle, I don't know.

It's an old pancake griddle. Pour the batter into the round bits, cook one side, and flip onto the flat one to finish cooking. Pour more batter into the round holes again. Repeat? Grease it up and put it back to work.

OH NO - there goes the Red Copper pan I foolishly bought! Love the old cast iron cookware - I use all cast iron on my gas stove.

Hi, cartoongirl - where are you located?

That HENRY DICK & SON ruler caught my attention!

My grandparents bought ALL their furniture there, and my Mom also bought her wedding/first house stuff from good old Henry Dick...

Oh, goodness, I didn't realize that's where you were! I grew up in that area.

My dad owned the big lumber & building supply company that used to be downtown on Crosby Street. I believe it's now (at least in part) a parking garage for WCSU.

My older sister is still there - she's a divorce attorney in Danbury. I'm planning to be down that way (for a belated Christmas celebration) over MLK Jr weekend.

We're going to try staying at that new Hotel Zero Degrees - hope it's nice!
