Pfaltzgraff - Worth Picking Up?

Seeing tons of Pfaltzgraff in local "antique" shops and malls got me thinking --- If one can acquire this stuff cheaply is it sellable? I don't personally like the stuff but I'm trying to think ahead to possibly dipping my toe into the world of flipping used goods and was wonder if it is worth picking up when available cheap.

For example picked these (below) for 50 cents for the pair this morning at a thrift shop.

I have always had the thought that, if you buy what you like and are stuck with it, it wouldn't be so bad. I would have left them there for someone to use. Not old enough or collectible enough for me. You do understand that this is my opinion!

That's a very common pattern (Tea Rose) and it's still being made. I doubt it will increase in value much unless the piece is new in box and something they only made for a short time. Pfaltzgraff is only worth something if it's in good shape and is a pattern they discontinued, and not all of that.

Def agree with this: "Pfaltzgraff is only worth something if it's in good shape and is a pattern they discontinued, and not all of that."

I buy a great deal of dinnerware throughout the year and rarely purchase one piece of Pfaltzgraff. For me, I stay from plates, bowls, etc. (usual fare). If I can purchase the more unusual pieces (beer mugs, stove trivets, cel phone holder, Star Trek series, etc.) and very affordably, I will make something.

I did buy some last summer, but it was my sister's discontinued pattern. She got married in 1997 and they stopped making it in 1998, naturally. It turned up in a tag sale in my own neighborhood, the first and last time it's ever been sighted in the wild. This one: http://www.replacements.com/webquote/pfacap.htm
