    Hello again,
I have few jewllery items I really like, and would like to ask if anyone can recognise any maker or tell me anything about the pice.
First one, a ladybug brooch, marked N3, diamonds and Sterling silver.
Second one, a pair of coral earrings, marked P.B , did not test the material.
Third one, a necklace, the stone is not lapis lazuli, marked with C inside a heart.
Fourth one is a silver ring marked JK
Last one a heavy sterling pendant marked e .
I know that in the past it has been said that there are thousands of makers out there, just wondering if anyone came across any of these ones.Thank you all.
    Looking forward to your replies.

Cute bug brooch, Simona, where are the diamonds? Did you test them?
The earrings are set with sponge coral, which doesn't have the value of precious coral.
Not only that, but with most costume jewellery, maker's marks aren't important. One less thing to worry about.;)

What does the top of the ring look like? What country do you live in?

The ring is modernist, I will take a photo shortly and post it.

I live in the UK, why?

Marking precious metals differ from country to country, several pieces look like student/artisan made.

All of these items I bought the in the UK, some through auctions, some throughout personal contacts, shops etc.

Too new for me to know the makers, unfortunately. I'd bet all of the pieces were imported to Britain. The mark on the flower might be identifiable but not by me. I'd say odds on it's Thai or Chinese-made.

I agree, some may be new, the ladybug one it is new for example. I was wondering if you could copy in the person whom may be able to recognise any of the makers mark.
    Thank you.

What are the hallmarks below the maker's mark?

There appears to be 3 hallmarks below that mark,2 ovals and a square.

    Lower down another 3 hallmarks
Inside an oval the letters FE
    Then another oval with 925
The a castle with 3 towers inside a square, similar to the Edinburgh essay.
    Hope this helps
It can be a NB as well, not N3

Hm. I'm wondering if the ladybird is an import mark. Can you get a better close up?

I suspect most of these were made in places like Indonesia and are fairly moderrn. They're nice though.

The problem is that these are too new for us to know. Another problem is that they are probably not made by well-known makers.

If you could post close ups of the marks, taken with sufficient light, we could try and find out more.

I tried to tweak the ladybird mark. Not really like the Edinburgh mark, but it does have towers.

Not Denmark either, and the only other tower marks I know of are 18th and 19th century marks. As I said, for most of us the focus is on older or antique jewellery, or designer jewellery.
Maybe someone here knows of a forum that is specialised in recent jewellery?
