Hello Board Folk! I am trying to figure out any information regarding this pitcher. It stands about 6 1/4" tall. I'm at a loss as to how to proceed with identifying a region or date. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Except the color is so bright, to ME, it almost has a Wedgwood look to it, but I'm almost ALWAYS WRONG, so I'm just a comment!!:joyful::joyful: BUT, still very pretty, Don!!

Found something on Pinterest that said this though:

    Yes
Mid to late 1800s I believe. Need to check that.

    Not Wedgwood

Thank you,Aquitaine. Not Wedgwood, though - it looks like all the decoration was in the mold rather than applied. The base is white and the blue looks almost painted on but is under the glaze. The places that look like wear to the blue in the photos are glare. I got a new phone and am having an awful time getting the photos correct.

Thanks INH and Cluttered. I will explore those options.

Hey, you had the time frame right! And right or not I always appreciate your input. I never know what clue might fire up one of my long lost memory cells! :)

Thank you, Any Jewelry. It was one of those ignored items at an auction that I couldn't resist.

I think Dudson and Brownfield made a lot of these moulded jugs.
