Rudimentary Cast Iron Potato Masher; C in Shield Mark

    It's ~8 7/8" high, ~2 3/4" diameter, tin plated, ~6.7 ounces. I'm guessing late 19thC to perhaps the 1920's. There are others out there, but with different hole shapes an' patterns...none (that I've seen) with the C in Shield mark.
    It's remarkably comfortable in the hand...I'm fond of mashed 'taters an' may keep it, after a try! Whatever y'all can say about this will be gratefully received. Thanks for lookin'!

    Remember to put it in the everything drawer so when you go to open the draw, that tater thing blocks it from opening. Happens to all of us having utensils.
