I’ve had this brooch a while it’s hallmarked for Edinburgh but I’m having trouble finding the makers mark which I think is HWW . 6E0D125A-56BC-41C7-86EC-605B1F55126E.jpeg 8300E2C9-2851-4B44-8D2D-071540EB854F.jpeg 77792B1E-A300-4DC0-A642-585A177D9FCF.jpeg 77792B1E-A300-4DC0-A642-585A177D9FCF.jpeg

I tried both HH and HN on Phil's site without success. Since the date is 1998 and he only adds marks that he has found, it may be that those marks haven't shown up yet.

Unfortunately the Exeter date letter y does not appear since 1796.

I think it's MHH - the sides of the "W" look too upright to be a W. Unfortunately it's not one I've seen before and it's not identified on the Edinburgh Incorporation of Goldsmiths site as they don't include what they call "live customers".

(And it's quite definitely Edinburgh - only Glasgow and Edinburgh used the lion rampant rather than the English lion passant). The date is 1998.

Checked Exeter no luck , I’m curious about the Lion standing seems to be uncommon all I have seen so far they’re on their feet. Will check and see about the lion but it’s frustrating the search has changed so much my results are the same as everyone’s , constant results to buy something .Thanks all for looking.
