    Hi,
I have this pair of lorgnette glasses, has a 935 mark - any ideas on where they were made? They are 5 3/4"L.

Just curious but . . . is that a "bifocal" semi-circle in the left lens as one looks at your first photo?

935 = Swiss silver standard, I believe. So I'd start researching there.

It looks like a "kryptok lens",but is the bifocal fused to the glass or "glued" to the lens? Hard to tell from the photos.

Holly, they are held together by the frame

The frame shouldn't be holding the "2" lenses together, either the bifocal is fused to the lens or it was "glued",if they separate then the "glue" has failed.

Maybe it was glued along the top at one time but there is nothing there now, the lens fits into the frame along the bottom. DSC03641.jpg
