Just wondering if you guys have seen anything like this. Dimensions are 13" high by 9" wide. I was looking to sell it, but I want to make sure it's not worth anything before I do.

I've seen the shape and color combination many times, though not the horseshoe. Does it have a round finger handle attached to the narrow upper part that just isn't showing in your picture?

Yes, there is an intact finger handle on the opposite side.

I used to think of them as "Liquor Jugs." In-laws gave us a pair out of their storage in the early 70's to use as lamp bases. Of course that was when "Early American" décor was popular. They were definitely "old" at the time, though I don't know how old.

Whether there's a market for yours, I don't know. But searching on that term may help you.

By the way, the number 2 probably stands for 2 gallons.
