Featured Walter Lampl Bracelet help please.

I am pretty sure the mark is for Walter Lampl. I would like to know how old this might be? The names of the stones? Why are they all carved front and back? and finally the blue stone looks like it has cancer?

I believe stones should always be identified in hand but I believe you have a vintage scarab bracelet with genuine amethyst, carnelian, tiger’s eye, lapis and rose quartz starting with the purple to the pink. I believe it’s gold filled and we all had them in the 60s. Wait for others.

I don't know the maker's mark off the top of my head, but gold-filled with real stones and one of the scarab bracelets for sure. I'd have said 50s to maybe 60s based on the design.

What is going on with the Lapis stone? is it supposed to look like it has cancer?

Like it was chemically damaged or not polished. Just doesn't look right? maybe just the way it is supposed to look

 

It's the way it's supposed to look. Some lapis has those silvery grey inclusions in it.

 

Sorry for the delay. I knew I had 2 pins set with lapis and wanted to see whether either one had a similar look. Turns out both have been well polished. I think yours is just a case of poor treatment.

 

They existed but were more popular 50s and 60s. By about 63 every girl i knew had one including me. If thatvstamp is mid 40s and after (I’m not familiar) i think more after! It just looks 50s early 60s to me but knowing all my early teenage friends were wearing them by 62/63 I’d think it more 50s before they filtered to the kids.

They got more cheaply made later on. The last of the line were goldtone and plastic.

 

Mine in the early 60s was 14k, not gold filled. Wish I still had it!

 

Or that I found it; the best I see are the gold-filled ones.(sigh)
