Need some help with a couple of items...

A friend of my mother’s asked me to help a relative with disposing of some of her mother’s things. Any idea of maker and/or age of these lamps? One is glass, I think, and the other seems to be a sort of “art moderne” style. Sorry about the pix, they’re what she sent me... Thanks for any help!

The first ones shape makes me think 60s Italian,but the decoration makes me think 30s-40s. Im so confused! But I LOVE it.

 

I'd say those floral swags on the first white glass one are more than likely Bohemian (Czechoslovakia)

 

Second one, maybe art deco French. Not convinced the silver ball is original. Can we see the top without the shade?

 

I’ll have to get her to take more photos. Weirdly, I thought maybe related to 1939 World Fair because the top has a cone shaped spike which didn’t come out in this reduced size photo. Reminded me of the sphere and cone from the fair. But she says there are no marks anywhere. I’m wondering about the electrical cord — was the hole original or drilled later? Kinda neat looking...
