Featured Today’s little finds

Went hunting for silk thread in my sewing box that has some old threads from my grandmother and who knows where else. Thought I may find some silk to judge what thickness I need. Found silk but no size on the card so binned that idea. Did however find cards of thread for mending my nylon stockings and this little gem.

 

I have one and within a couple of weeks it paid for itself. Look at all the pieces you have posted in the last 30 days that needed to be tested

I’ve just bought this one. For me eyewateringly expensive but I’ve read lots of reviews and the presidium ones seem the best. I looked for a better deal but couldn’t find much better and wanted to buy from a reputable UK supplier

I liked this one as you can tell it what colour your gem is to cut down your choices. The Quicktest site seems to have pretty balanced reviews that I found helpful.
