I'm not sure if this counts as antique or not, but I can't find anything like it online. It feels like porcelain and by the clothing, I'm *guessing* she's from the 1980's. There is no brand name or signature anywhere on the doll. I've sifted through dolls online and can't seem to indentify it. It's about 12"-13" tall. Seems unique. Thanks for any info.

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

Well, I'm sure you'll get some doll expertise here.
Meanwhile, I'll agree with the 80s diagnosis... big hair, jewel tones, and glitter! That minor in fashion pays off now and then. (Now watch me be wrong...)

Reminds me of Suzanne Summers in workout gear.

The box she came in seems really old, so I'm still guessing early 80's!!!

Hmmm..... I hate to see the wrappings I came in.

    >Reminds me of Suzanne Summers<

I had the same thought, baker! I did check out her dolls seeing none like this one. It seems the popular or the only doll of her came out in 1978.

Paula, isn't there any markings on the box? Really look the box over for any writing and look on the doll itself. Sometimes the company's name was on the bottom of the feet or high on the back of the doll.

Paula - Do you know how old Suzanne is? She's very well preserved.

Oh, mercy, I just realized her shirt says "Smile"... I thought it said "Emile"!

To check her feet, I'd have to undo the zip tie. She's all bound in. I don't want to hurt the value (if it has any). The box is just purple and has absolutely nothing on it.

OK! I found a tag under her clothes on her body. Dandee International. Made in China. Kool Kids perhaps.
