Featured Mid century scoop chair

Anyways, I have this chair that I need to know who might have made it. It was originally made with carpet.

    Don't recognize it right away. Shape of seat reminds me of a Harry Bertoia design but think his frames were all metal

    Best wishes to work out your issues. As to your chair, your pics are small and not the best. But from what you showed, it looks like a nice mid century style, with teak/walnut? wood. I don't think the carpet is original; notice it matches the carpet in the room so I think it was reupholstered when the indoor carpet was done? Best way to figure out what the chair is, age and possibly maker, take off the carpet to see what the construction is like (plastic? fiberglass?) and take better pics. If it is an older chair the carpet may simply peel off with a bit of pulling since the glue tends to dry out.

    Okay Jeff, the frame is wood on the inside and the seat area has the strips of burlap
