I picked up a rather unusual walking stick a while back. Anyone have an idea of the country of origin or age?

Good Lord, how LONG is it???????????? I have no clue as to origin, but there's a decent amount of work in creating that!!

The rope-like carving and ball knob remind me of Turkish walking sticks.

Or just meant for walking on dirt. No idea where that came from.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

It's very attractive. Looks kind of fragile in the photos, though.
