Mcm dresser

Thoughts on value? Graduated drawers, Unfortunately somebody painted it. No markings identifying maker.

 

uuhhhhhhh, not much....

 

Is there anything visible that's not painted. The legs look 1950s or early 60s,so it's got some age. What do the sides of the drawers look like? It's a shame that someone painted it, unless it was always painted. Some kids' bedroom furniture started out that way.

 

I'll grab a pic of the drawers...super clean, not on tracks it seems, they are very box like. Not dovetail. I actually have a taker tomorrow @ $160 lol!

Bottom or inside of drawers not painted.

Could be one of these by Ward Furniture Mfg of Durham, NC (not associated with Montgomery Ward). Refinished it would probably sell in the $250-$500 range in a big city area. But in current condition, $160 seems about right.

YES! Sad they painted it. Maybe could be stripped and refinished, the girl that took it today liked the color but I recommended refinishing LOL
