Bought an antique shaving box, with razors, beard brushes, (new old stock) razor blades, a stropping machine in original box, and a few other shaving related items.
And it also included this ...

With that C-clasp and the hinge on a pad the brooch dates from about the same period as the coins.
Tracht(en) jewellery can include coin jewellery, but during the first half of the 20th century coin jewellery was also fashionable. This doesn't look like a traditional piece to me, those usually had a historic connotation and they had some precious value, for instance an antique silver Saxon coin.
In this case I would say a fashionable coin brooch.

Or a souvenir piece that could be brought back to friends/mama for not much money.

    Just to be sure ...

    Just a scratched/dented C clasp?

And these were the best I managed to take.
The rest was even worse. Cam was constantly focussing on everything except the bit that I aimed for ... :(
It's a pity that I didn't need super sharp close-up photos of the coins, my fingers, my desk or my pants ... :wacky:
