    RIP-Roberta with Donny Hathaway was heavenly too. I wonder if she was still doing any limited gigging ?
    I think Frankie Laine & Tony Bennett were in their early 90's.Dionne Warwick's 84.

    Roberta was diagnosed with ALS a few years ago, an' could no longer sing, Bosko.

    That song blew me away when I was a teen. Great voice. RIP Roberta.

    Man. This is a two glass of wine night. I think I was 8 when "The first time ever I saw your face" came out. I loved it. And yes, I do think it was recorded after the loss of her beloved cat.

    i only learned recently the genesis of killing me softly was a poem written during a don mclean performance
