Tried posting on another forum about this without any luck. Bought in antique store in uk. Not sure if it's antique, but it does look handmade to me as there are very wonky sections at base of neck etc. very fine but smooth scratches on base... about 6.5 inches tall

Any info on age or what type of vessel it is would be appreciated

The neck is my favorite part! I wouldn't call it an antique though. It has a real mid-century, 1960's or 70's, Finnish buzz to me.

Thank you, furthered my search with your Finnish suggestion and came across some I think Swedish glassware called kosta boda... Found a bunch of objects like this which are basically the same shape

I did have a feeling it might just be a vase of some kind and I think that's probably it, considering the polished pontil. And I think you might be right on the date too, maybe 60s to 80s? Anyway thank you, for £3 I'm happy with it, would have been nice if antique but I like any glassware if it's interesting
