the paperweight was indeed an old photograph, but in beat up condition, so thought id clean it up and add another. the possibilities are endless, haven't found the right one yet, hopefully i'll find something a bit quirky.

the bottom is concave so acts as a magnifier

im hoping i've got a damaged art/painting segment or miniature somewhere

Yes, it is. It is lovely.
Agra is the town where the Taj Mahal is, and these inlays are similar to the ones on the Taj Mahal.

It is. It isn't covered with inlay, but it has inlaid floral bands all around, and also carved floral friezes.
