I picked these up a while ago and sat on them because I was struggling to ID them. I'm sure they are arita ware. I just dont know who they are by. I'd say they are very modern too and might be saucers. Anybody recognise the floral stamp on the back please? I have found some in eBay and thought I'd cracked it. The ones on eBay are described as 'kikuwari'. Aha I thought. But after googling, I think this is an adjective rather than maker because I have found some fukagawa seiji also described as kikuwari.

It was hard work trying to get spell check to spell fukagawa correctly.

Not your fault, ebay links just show a black page with a single white pixel nowadays.:arghh:

It's not you. Something is buggy with direct links to eBay. Everyone clicking on them is getting a single white pixel. When the url link is activated it picks up tracker garbage on the front (and sometimes back end) of the item address. Even if you strip the garbage off the url and link again....it just gets replaced. The only thing I've found to work so far is putting the clean link in regular text for us to manually copy paste into our browsers. No idea why that's happening. :banghead:

On hyperlinks? So if you copy paste it's okay?

Yes. If someone is clicking on the link you made they have to be careful to choose "Copy link text" and not "Copy link address."

White pixel? Gawd, technology run amok! However, less problematic for me as I hardly ever am on ebay these days.

Thanks Mirana & AJ- Ebay blocking image sharing seems a bit overkill, but then I'm not a Nerd. Those folks seem to exist in a parallel universe.

It doesn't happen when you're already on ebay, just when you click on a link to an ebay listing.

Would seem like a good way for Ebay to advertise itself, but then maybe Ebay's actually more confused than me !

So is it eBay that are blocking the links or antiquers? Not sure h9w eBay could get their talons in this end. Also why would eBay stop any free advertising? Not that anything they do makes any sense

Not a case of why, rather how. How can eBay only block links posted on a specific web site? A lot more feasible that a site can block outward going links to another site.

Antiquers doesn't block any other links, so why would they block ebay.
