Featured Plese help identify this large blue and white porcelain bowl

I recently purchased this footed bowl at a thrift store near Palm Springs. It is 9.75" wide, 3.5" tall. It weighs just under 14 oz. The white glaze has a noticeable blue tint to it. There is wear on both the rim, where the glaze has worn off and pink clay shows through, and on the bottom which is pitted. There are flecks of ash dimpling the glaze throughout the piece. It is unsigned.

There is a swirl motif at the rim which I've only ever seen on Kutani ware. There is a pattern on the bottom that is similar to borders I found on two Imari pieces using google image search.

The style of the flower and butterfly motif are similar to Delft and early English porcelain.

I'm confused! Can anyone tell me when and where this bowl was made and an idea of its value?

The flowers and butterflies make me think Japanese. It could be Chinese, Delft or even English though. Ideas were swapped and borrowed. Looks like it has some age though. Beautiful piece.

I'd be thinking Chinese based on the designs and the footrim, but don't ask me if it's 1970s, 1920s, 1820s or 1420s.

 

Very nice bowl, and I can see why you are confused. It is porcelain, so not Delfts.
I think it is Chinese provincial ware, which is always difficult to research.

 

Well I've had my answer! An appraiser told me it is an 18th Century Chinese export bowl, probably missing the lid with a value of several hundred dollars. Thank you all for your help identifying the bowl!
