something else i picked up at the boot(2)

it could be 21st to be honest, and not mad about it, but it does have some lovely curves

and just like her demure look

seems more care and thought taken on it than a home goods item

honestly couldn't even guess at an origin

can't find another similar so any thoughts or info much appreciated

Enough chatter abt Charlie's 'Woodie' let's get back to this masterpiece. First I'll hazard a guess that may get me hooted out of the Forum-not a Rodin,Michelangelo or Bernini !
PS-This is a 'Woodie' in my neck o' the woods-

My initial thought was African but she looks very western ? I like her a lot .

Personally I don’t think African..Is it heavy or light? Looks light weight to me . Makes me think of a carving made of driftwood. I also like it.

thanks mate, yeah body wise me too, but the face doesn't look african to me either

love how her arms cradle her belly underneath her dress

    perhaps she might be pregnant

for its size i would say a light wood, but not as light as driftwood and much harder
