    SAM_0048.JPG SAM_0050.JPG Another antique found in my storage search.This item is framed.Information with papers has original antique,guaranteed to be circa 1770.I've looked and looked,I can't find any information on this item or if there's some value.Need information.

    I dont know how thingsare at present but just just a few years ago you could go to a clock and watch fair and buy orphan 18th c. verge watch cocks for a few pounds each.
    one man i recall had hundreds of them.

    Someone not all that long ago had the bright idea of marketing them like this, which seems as good a thing as any to do with them, but i'd say the value remainsvery modest. The framing and presentation would have cost more than the actual article.
