Featured Help ID artist on Japanese? Art

Found this cool piece at my local thrift. My intentions were to sell but probably going to keep it now that I have it hanging on my wall. I am.u sure who the artist is so was wondering if anyone might know? It is signed on back and has a red stamp marl but some of it wore off. It appears to be maybe 1970s or 1980s era? It's wood and has metal overlay like thin copper and brass. Thank you for any info. It could be one of those restaurant art pieces but just had a cool look so I bought it anyway.
