Featured Vintage or antique glass and silver plate (?) belt, any age?

Hello all! I haven't had a whole lot to share recently but I have a few bits of jewelry now that I have queries about. This was listed at auction only as "vintage belt". I thought it might be a little older but I would love your opinion. It measures 40"L so I'm pretty sure it's a belt (plus it doesn't sit very well as a necklace unless you wear the hook part around the front. It isn't silver, maybe silver plate with purple glass cabochons and fillagree style balls. Do you think it's from around the 1920s or is it a 1970s-80s does Art Nouveau/Deco revival? Thanks for any input!

 

I thought 1960s when I first looked at it . How fun is that belt ???

 

So fun! My increasing problem is that I buy what I like to resell, then I have very hard time parting with things Maybe I'll just wear it once or twice first

That is adorable and I would have snagged it even to hang it in a window and enjoy! The amethyst is lovely! Edited! YIKES! and I just realized that the artist covered those amethyst pieces so no window but I would have definitely worn it!
