£1 pop up from a book sale, it’s smells very musty so will have to be cat littered.

Isn't that interesting? I'd never hear of the Bookano series but, apparently, they were very popular.

I found something that deserves a photo today - a sterling and Italian glass rosary, in a box with a hallmarked silver plaque on top that's original to the box. $5. I scored a Terra Sancta Guild enameled wall cross too, a pair of wood coral and 14k earrings and some little pearl and black drops with 14k findings. The grand total was $11.

Will do! The thrift is in a Catholic-run soup kitchen. I don't usually get a ton there, but once in a while they have something good.

It was bone dry last weekend except for enough silver to cover the purchases and the gas. The thrifts have been empty of anything worth the effort, but once in a while you hit a lick.

An actual find - not bought from a store but dug up out of my back yard! Owens company (possibly apothecary? or bourbon?) bottle from what I believe is dated 1935 IMG_20250528_221109_(1080_x_1434_pixel).jpg IMG_20250528_221115_(1080_x_1434_pixel).jpg

Finally uploaded the pictures of what I found this week. Saturdays tag sale at a church was washed out, so this is likely all. Likely all either way, given what I (haven't) found there in the past.

Sterling and Venetian glass rosary in a rosary box, probably the original, with a hallmarked plaque also from Italy. Wood coral earrings with 14k findings, and an enameled Terra Sancta Guild cross.

I know they are. Wood coral is another name. If you see a piece end on, it looks like wood.

We call it by the Indonesian name 'akar bahar'. It grows a lot in the waters of the Moluccas aka Spice Islands in eastern Indonesia.

It's found in Hawaii too. I don't think it's harvested there any more, but I still find a piece here and there.

I bought a ton of stuff this weekend (so far), and hubby is telling me to go play again tomorrow. One of my favorite things was the basket for $2. Dommie (Domino) loves it.
