I google lensed these, can't find ones like them. A bit of wear to the goldtone, open-back unfoiled glass stones. Where do you think they were made and when, and what should my friend ball park ask for them? I haven't cleaned the glass yet. Thanks. Lumii_20250602_193014883.jpg

My friend bought some jewelry from a 91 year-old woman. Unfortunately, much was damaged.

I would think they could have been made anytime the last 30 years or so. I'm in USA so maybe here, or could be Chinese but I'd expect their modern production to be better made. With the poor quality casting, wear to the plating and simple glass stones, I don't think they are very sellable.

They have had a life, and it shows. They were once fun costume bracelets. They are now fun costume bracelets in bad condition.
I would advise your friend to enjoy wearing them, and forget about selling them.

She's not looking for a big payout. She is pricing a ton of things, necklaces mostly $10, bracelets and earrings $5. I was just wondering if maybe she could do $10 on the bracelets. I am repairing and cleaning some things for her. Personally, the stones are beautiful...wondering if someone would repurpose them. I will Windex the stones and use a Sunshine cloth lightly one the metal.

Your friend would have to show AND mention the worn plating and poor casting if she were to try to sell them. She'd best check to make sure none of the stones are chipped or cracked. Then, she'd have to hope that potential shoppers actually read the words about the defects and condition and that the photos conveyed said details or she could get requests for returns. I don't think it's worth the work.

I agree with the above. And a lot of work for little profit.

    They would be sold in-person.
