It is very sweet, and the fluorescence looks good to me.:)
The bail is not recent, but difficult to say how old exactly.
Because amber is fossilized tree sap/resin, it can have bubbles in it. It also has a few 'spangles', flattened bubbles that occur when amber is heated and pressed into shape.

A bit difficult to see the exact colour against your hand, but it is either cognac amber or honey amber.

Nice lump. Are there any insects in it? I got shafted with a plastic faux amber necklace. It fluoresced like amber and I thought happy days. Unfortunately it smelt like burning plastic when I burnt a broken fragment.. I guess the only sure fire method to ID it is burn it or do the salt water test. Not really practical in a shop.

Insects in the Amber world are called inclusions.
I have two pieces of Baltic Amber, allegedly 40 million years old.
    The oldest items I possess.
