probably my favourite thrift find of the day
the village across the water from me
hand painted by ex worcester painter d wilson for dunheved
always sells well dunheved, though not popularly known
not sure if its a one off or not, sometimes his pieces are
last picture is with the village behind

 

I like that last pic! The inspiration and the object together.

 

thanks pot, yeah i'm probably better off trying to sell it locally, probably get more views in a shop window than ebay at the moment

 

think its gonna be a nice one tomorrow by the sky tonight

I hear the weather is getting warmer where you are. Hopefully not as hot as here in southeastern NL, where it has been tropical for quite some time. Today is slightly cooler, but tomorrow will be in the 30s C. The sun sets ca 10 pm, so it stays hot for a long time.

You never know....

blimey 30C is baking

as always i enjoy the start of the summer and relish it, but probably won't be to long before i'm whinging about it

without drinking this year i've been able to enjoy it far more without the drink sweats

i loathe sweating so another good reason to stay off the grog

 

been very light at nights as well so not the best for sleeping, but not feeling tired either

its light about 4am

 

I don't miss the classic 'night sweats'. Guess the 'squares' were 'mostly' right abt booze n' drugs !

I use sleep masks (w/ rhinestones naturally old boy !).

 

i tried one once but dreamt i got kidnapped, blindfolded and thrown down a well

same happens if i sleep in the nuddy, i usually have dreams about walking around in public like it
